Tuition Fee and Scholarship

The tuition fee for admissions in the academic year 2024-25 is HK$170,000 (~US$21,850)* for the whole programme.

For each additional credit unit taken, the tuition fee is HK$7,084 (~US$911)*. Students will pay the tuition fee each term based on the credits taken.
In addition to the application fee, applicants are also required to settle a deposit within 2 weeks upon receipt of admission offer. The deposit is non-refundable and the amount paid will be deducted from the total tuition fee.

Entrance Scholarship

The MGPE Programme offers merit-based entrance scholarships for top-ranking newly-admitted students. The entrance scholarships may cover FULL or HALF of the tuition fee.

Once you have successfully submitted an application for admission, you will be considered for an entrance scholarship automatically. Selection is based on academic merits with consideration of non-academic achievements.

As long as you have commenced your study at CUHK, you may apply for other CUHK Scholarships.


ACADEMIC DISTINCTION AWARD

The Academic Distinction Award aims at providing recognition to students with outstanding performance. The criteria of the Award are as follows: students must have a minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.60 upon graduation; and NORMALLY 4 awards will be given to students who graduate with the highest GPA in each academic year.
