A program consisting of different international approaches, thoughts and discussions was what made me apply to the MGPE program and fly across the world from Sweden to Hong Kong. Something I never will regret!
The MGPE program is an eye opener in many perspectives especially for a European like me; the program is highly professional with a vast mix of professors from across the world with different energy, experience and focus. This mix serves the students well since one is able to choose an alignment that suits your individual political and economic interest.
Furthermore, the education is highly interactive, unusual for many master degrees. This enables you as a student to express your opinions and gain the important skill of rhetoric and the ability argue for your case.
Socially, the entry to a whole new culture was extremely rewarding and in the MGPE program I found myself surrounded by many smart and kind people to guide me through the new country and ways of living in Hong Kong. I have made friends for life, friends I never would have met outside of the master’s program.
Last but not least, I would like to emphasize the fact that the MGPE program is well backed up by a great organisation and very helpful staff; the professors REALLY take the time for your questions and thoughts, that is when you really want to learn and don’t forget.
