PhD in Applied Social Studies (City University of Hong Kong)
Dr. Louis Mok is a Part-time Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Science and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He also served as a Full-time Lecturer in the College of Professional and Continuing Education of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Social Studies at City University of Hong Kong, for investigating the cultural compatibility and feasibility of using restorative justice to combat domestic violence in Hong Kong. His research interests include crime and criminal Justice, juvenile delinquency, domestic violence and restorative justice. He is currently serving as the Principal Investigator of “Pathway to Desistance: A Qualitative Study of Young Ex-drug Users in Hong Kong” Research Project from the Beat Drugs Fund.
