Dr. HORIUCHI Toru is a Lecturer in the Global Studies Programme, Faculty of Social Science. He received his MA from Georgetown University and PhD from the University of Hong Kong. Prior to his appointment at CUHK, he served as a research fellow at the Japanese Consulate in Hong Kong. His primary research interests include Sino-Japanese relations, Chinese foreign policy, and security issues in East Asia.
