Though my undergraduate major has little to do with international political economy, MGPE programme removed all my anxieties when I am surrounded by easygoing classmates, willing-to-give seniors and knowledgeable professors. Classmates are from various countries, such as United States, Brazil, South Korea, Mainland China, Hong Kong…, which presents the international nature of programme. Students actively share their opinions in class and are graduates of top universities from all over the world, which makes me feel like learning among a group of elites and really stimulates me a lot! Besides, there is no obstacle to making friends with classmates though they are from different countries! We have fun not only in class discussion but also in extracurricular activities, such as the visit to US Consulate General or the BBQ in suburban area! Just like the motto of MGPE-ers, “We work hard, and play harder!”
The MGPE’s nice seniors also make me impressive. They are all people who are more than willing to share what they learned, interact a lot with juniors, and provide guidance about how to prepare school works. No wonder my anxieties could be dissolved immediately with the kind help of them!
Knowledgeable professors are the most attractive part for me to choose MGPE. And it proves that my choice was right after I attended courses. They not only present us with their insightful views and thought-provoking words but also provide a free atmosphere for discussion. And we are usually surprised by the great articles and works written by professors in the publications, which really makes us proud of being students of MGPE!
So if you are of the same kind of person as I am, having passion for international political economy, longing for multicultural environment, desiring for knowledge, being fond of playing with peers, then I assure you that MGPE is your best choice!
