All courses are taught in English.

2. What are the differences between this Programme and similar programmes in other universities?

MGPE is a renowned interdisciplinary programme that features the concept of “global” by linking closely global trends with local dynamics. It is directly applicable to the financial and management world, and offers timely and integrative knowledge to students on issues covering global politics and global economy.

Apart from its professional, experienced and committed teaching team, the Programme also provides opportunities for its students to acquire social capital through its unique writing assignment scheme. The optional field study, tentatively to be organized in summer adds values to the MGPE Studies by allowing students to testify their knowledge learnt in class in practical terms.

3. Will I be allowed to apply for course and unit exemption for similar courses attended in other tertiary institutions?

The University has a policy on course/unit exemption, and requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, unit exemption for this Programme is usually not allowed. It is considered contrary to the aim of the Programme, which is to widen the knowledge base of the students.
